Health and Fitness hasn't always been a way of life for me. In fact, growing up I didn't really know what healthy was. I ate enough frozen meals and 'Cup O Noodles' to feed an Army, and I was only really good at one sport. Can't say that I was too athletically inclined.
It wasn't until I became a mom that I realized how truly out of shape and unhealthy I was. Not only was I a pack-a-day chain-smoker, but I was also an avid binge eater and yo-yo dieter who suffered silently for years. I was running out of breath and energy moving from the couch to the floor to play with my son, and that's when I knew I needed to make a change.
After trying fad diet after fad diet, losing and gaining the same 20-40 pounds, I realized that everything I was doing wasn't healthy or sustainable. I decided to go to school for Fitness and Nutrition to teach people like you and I what it means to live a healthy, balanced lifestyle.
Nothing is more rewarding to me than seeing you reach your goals. Whether it is developing a healthier relationship with food, or doing your first deadlift, nothing gives me more joy than seeing you succeed and gain confidence from the inside out.
